Some characters, being strong or popular , go beyond their original narrative and invade other stories . Some of them have invaded my imagination . In Figuraças (figures) exhibition, I created characters and introduced known names in fiction and the real world in a new context , as if ready to star fictional animated series. Presented in 2009, in Gibi Bar in Porto Alegre, the works present animated versions of such figures as the Arnold Schwarzenegger Terminator, or Sloth from the Goonies, a classic movie from 80s. They all share features from 50s and 60s cartoons and ther strong colors. In their visual presentation, the illustrations also show the classic title cards inspired by the universe of Hanna Barbera studio catoons. In 2011, the exhibitions was also shown in the city of Bagé, chosen by its City Hall.
